The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery, which focuses on a particular patient population(s)/specific health condition, by the health care team.. The Substitute School Nurse provides temporary health services in the absence of the regular campus nurse.. Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee (ARD) meetings of students with identified health needs and develop Individual Health Plans (IHPs).. Advise campus administration in crisis or emergency situations and participate in assessment and reporting of suspected child abuse..
