Are you an experienced RN who is ready and interested in expanding or pivoting your career into any of the following specialty areas: Emergency Room, Operating Room, Labor & Delivery, ICU, IMCU, Oncology, CVICU*, Renal Transplant, Cardiac Catheterization, PEDS Hematology/Oncology Outpatient, PEDS ICU and NICU.. Positions require: One (1) year of acute independent nursing practice experience and a valid BLS and ACLS (for adults), from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.. CVICU positions require: two (2) years of Cardiac IMCU experience or one (1) year general ICU independent practice experience with hemodynamic monitoring and ECCO Course completion.. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas.. PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU.- if RN is coming from a non-pediatric background, they have 30 days from date of hire to obtain PALS. NRP certification required for NICU if RN is coming from a non NICU background, they have 30 days from date of hire to obtain NRP. Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs must be completed prior to completion of job orientation.
