As a key clinical staff member within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, this position will be assigned to be the lead clinical support person to one of the Departments faculty members.. The role will work closely with the receptionist and the administrative assistant/surgical scheduler of the assigned faculty member to manage the office and surgical schedules.. The role will discuss all estimated quotes – including costs related to surgeon, anesthesia and facility fees as appropriate.. This includes referrals to other physician offices, scheduling imaging as requested, and all other assigned tasks that fall into the patients care plan.. The role will work collaboratively with the RN Manager to provide oversight and mentorship to the Medical Assistant staff working within the Head and Neck Cancer Division.

Current State license as an APRN or PA with specialization in Family or Pediatrics. Nurse Practitioner - Current certification from the Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board (ONCB) preferred. Two to three years of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
