Overview: Presbyterian is seeking a Transfer Center Nurse Specialist The Transfer Center Coordinator is responsible to coordinate/inpatient bed assignments for critical care patients at Presbyterian. Ideal Candidate 1 year RN experience to OR a minimum 1 year experience in a transfer center setting. State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License Academic Preparation: Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred Responsibilities: Transfer Center Patients Coordinates and facilitates the transfer of patients from other health care facilities to Presbyterian Hospital using Transfer center process flows. Collaborate with PFC, nursing supervisor, Operations Coordinator, Manager/Director of Patient Logistics, regarding patient placement issues. The Clinical/Skills Lab Instructor will provide Sim/Skills Lab and/or Clinical site education to students enrolled at the assigned Workforce Development Program site.. We are looking for Mon-Thurs availability and can be flexible - Hours vary based on clinical rotation and/or skills lab course..
